City to lease land
The pool may be too long and the debt too deep for a few councillors, but plans for the new, $210-million Harry Jerome rec centre project inched forward Monday.
City of North Vancouver council voted 5-2 in favour of a design that includes a 50-metre pool, six sheets of curling, a new skate park, a fitness centre, the Silver Harbour Seniors’ Activity Centre, and rooftop tennis courts.
