Promoting the development of an all purpose pool in North Vancouver. A pool for all ages and multiple activities for aquatic interest.
On July 23, 2018 approval was received from the City of North Vancouver Council to proceed with detailed design and construction of the new Harry Jerome Recreation Centre. The $200 million project includes an Aquatics facility with 50 M and leisure pools, Gymnasium, Arena, Curling, Fitness, Silver Harbour Seniors’ Activity Centre, Multi-Purpose rooms, Children’s area, Youth Centre, Active zone including a new skate plaza and more. Construction is anticipate to begin in 2020, with completion in 2023. The current facility will remain in operation throughout construction.
